Following the conversion, the Jewish Museum in Palais Eskeles receives its visitors with a light installation by the artist Brigitte Kowanz on the façade and a spacious entrance area, which has been faithfully recreated. The permanent exhibitions in the Jewish Museum are distributed over three areas: the newly arranged Display Depot presents collections and the collectors behind them, such as Max Berger. The Studio is a workshop and exhibition space for ritual everyday objects in one. The future permanent exhibition on the ground floor is currently still a work in progress and will be presented in autumn 2012.

Exciting temporary exhibitions (currently: Bigger than life. 100 years of Hollywood) and numerous events are also held in the Jewish Museum. The Singer bookshop and a café are located on the ground floor. The Museum Judenplatz with its Holocaust memorial is also part of the Jewish Museum and worth a visit.
