Sightseeing and themed rides with DDSG
Vienna can be explored in comfort from the water: from April to October, the DDSG Blue Danube offers sightseeing tours on the Danube Canal and Danube River on six boats. On board, the crew treats you to delicacies of Viennese cuisine. A tip for cool days: the Danube Canal tour can also be enjoyed in the winter months of November and December on board the comfortably warm MS Schlögen. In addition, there are themed rides with live music and a buffet from February to December. The Heurige Tour with Vienna Songs presents Vienna from its musical and culinary sides.
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at being the captain? From April to October, you have the chance to be the helmsman on the MS Admiral Tegetthoff: after some technical training and a tour of the engine room, you can take over the controls for 15 minutes and then fill up on energy with a delicious skipper's snack.
The boat of DDSG Blue Danube moor either at the Reichbrücke, in Vienna Marina or the "Vienna City" landing stage on the Danube Canal. The two fast catamarans of the Twin City Liner also await you here, should you need a speedy shuttle service from Vienna to Bratislava.

For keen adventurers: Nostalgic boat tours
Take a tour on board the oldest passenger boat to ply the Danube in Austria. The MS ANA was built in 1894 as a salon ship, and served the Viennese nobility under Emperor Franz Joseph I. as a pleasure boat. In 1927, it was converted from a steamer to a diesel-powered passenger boat. Under the motto "One boat - one price", the MS ANA can be hired for scheduled as well as customized tours on the Danube in Vienna. Just as adventurous is a trip on the icebreaker Arthur, which was built in 1955 and has been restored to its original condition. Also visit the museum boat FRÉDÉRIC MISTRAL. Under Emperor Franz Josef I., it served as a secret inspection boat, and was used in World War One as a mine seeker in the Black Sea. Today, it lies at anchor in Vienna and is a museum boat.
